Only the extracted text is stored, and the file itself isn't kept. Each question sends about 11k tokens of material, cached for an hour and shared between members, so a follow-up costs about a tenth of the first.
Staying on topic
Members should be able to ask about your courses, not use your API key as a general chatbot.
Plus a daily question limit per member, and your own wording for refusals. Two things you can't switch off: it won't diagnose or give medical advice, and it hands over to real help if someone sounds unsafe.
